By George, I think I've got it

After a couple of weeks and four media - I think I've landed on a solution. First attempt in deerskin. Not quite...
then we have wood...FAIL!
up next, clay... EPIC FAILURE. I almost gave up, because it broke as I was working on it today, the last day before show's deadline. Then the clouds parted...

Inspiration



I had this idea about four years ago to make "Third Eye Glasses". I couldn't come up with quite the right combination of materials/look - but after visitng the "Art of the American Indians" show at the Cleveland museum of art, everything clicked when I saw these ceremonial goggles in the exhibit.hope to have these ready to enter into an upcoming show...
